Wellness Wednesday - Morning Lemon Water

I offer you my mornings’ first drink, (before coffee or tea) which is warm to hot water with fresh lemon juice or apple cider vinegar (some days a little turmeric and cayenne for extra kick). You can make this invigorating drink with a little local honey stirred in as well. It will sure wake you up, hydrate you after your sleep, and kick start your metabolism. Also adding in vitamin C, potassium, calcium and phosphorus and magnesium to your body and it will help to maintain the body’s pH balance. It is a natural detoxifying drink and with the turmeric it helps to fight inflammation in the body. So wake up and drink up! Also the warm temperature of the water is soothing as we are entering into the colder months. Continue drinking lots of water, preferably warm with lemon throughout the day. Besides the immune supporting and digestive benefits, you might notice that it helps you lose weight and clear your skin. Happy experimenting.
